MERCEDES-BENZ, commonly referred to as Mercedes, is a German automotive brand. The company was founded by Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler. Mercedes A.G. is a subsidiary of Daimler A.G. Like many companies, Mercedes offered corporate gadgets as gifts under various forms (branded under their name and logo), and because of the German people's interest for chess, chess board games (manufactured by others or exceptionally designed and made in their own manufacture).
